First Hydrogen is developing a technology based on a new class of nano-cells which behave like biological enzymes though they are synthetic/inorganic and non-biological. The nano-cells are capable of producing hydrogen fuel suitable for many applications including low temperature PEM fuel cells from a wide range of commonly available, renewable, and non-fossil feedstocks.

With this technology, it is anticipated that hydrogen can be safely and cost effectively generated on site and on demand.
